Reading

I was stealth sketching the other day, and saw this girl and was inspired to make a painting of her. I don't usually sketch random people in public, but it was fun! Also frustrating - people don't hold still for very long! And I got some funny looks from people trying to figure out why I was staring at them, haha.

Gouache(!). I haven't really used gouache since freshman year of college for color exercise assignments, but I've always loved it! I don't know why I stopped using it for so long. Well, better late than never, I guess!
